Eli and his six siblings were dumped in an overcrowded rural shelter in the southern part of the state where hound dogs are a dime-a-dozen. Luckily they were taken in by another rescue, however, they spent the next several months of their lives in a kennel waiting to either be adopted or placed with another rescue. After several months of living in a boarding kennel, Eli and his remaining siblings were transferred to Heartland where they are finally getting to live the life all puppies deserve! Eli is the only one of his brothers left. They have all found their forever homes. Eli is the most subdued one. He is very, very shy and timid. He needs another more dominant dog in the house to follow. He is working on his potty training and socialization. He is a sweet dog that had a rough start to life. He just needs someone to show him lots of love. Eli is neutered, UTD on his vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested and on prevention. His adoption fee is $200.
