Are you looking for a companion to just hang out with? If so, we would love for you to meet Rosa. She is senior American Bull dog mix, weighing in at 65 lbs. When Rosa came to HSAR, the shelter she came from said she had basically given up on life and asked us to give her another chance for a forever home. She is the kind of dog we love to help. Rosa needed some surgery to remove a mass in her side.....(turned out to be non cancerous :). She is now very healthy and ready to snooze with you on the couch (or doggy bed) while you watch some TV! Rosa is on thyroid medicine and Proin to help her bladder. Rosa is crate and house trained. She likes all people and will let you know if someone she is not familiar with enters the house or at the door.Rosa currently lives with other dogs but would totally love being the center of attention.. Not sure about cats. If you are ready for a senior that just wants to be with her person and hang out, please come and meet Rosa. You will not be dissapointed. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (age 7 months and older) and microchipped. A senior dog's adoption fee is $100.
